This program is a serverless multicast based instant messenger. Currently it's limited to multicasting on a private network. It has been tested on both blackdown and Sun JREs, versions 1.3.1 and 1.4.0.

The Pimentel release.

This version of the program was created as a demonstration for a Computer Networks class. It is fully functional, but there are a few things to keep in mind. It is not secure and very dependent on a reliable network. If you really want to use it, it's up to you to provide a reliable and secure network. We also made a few assumptions to make our job easier, so if you want to use it on a production network, read the source, find the assumptions, and make sure you understand them.

This release is named for the professor of the Networks class.
